Terms and Conditions for Gardening Services
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the gardening services provided by HP Landscaping & Garden Maintenance to the customer. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services Provided
We offer regular gardening services, which may include:
• Lawn mowing and edging
• Weeding and pruning
• Hedge trimming
• Planting and garden maintenance
• And weed spraying
Any additional services must be agreed upon in advance and may incur extra charges.
3. Booking and Cancellations
• Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
• Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice; otherwise, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service fee may apply.
• We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Payment Terms
• Payments are due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
• We accept Bank transfer and cash, however, bank transfer is preferred where possible.
• Late payments may incur a 10% late fee per week overdue.
5. Health and Safety
• We take safety seriously and use appropriate equipment for all tasks.
• The client must ensure access to the property is available and remove any hazards that may pose a risk.
• Pets and children should be kept away from the work area during service.
6. Liability
• We will take reasonable care while working on your property. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, natural wear and tear, or unforeseen issues.
• We are not responsible for damage caused by pests, extreme weather, or acts of nature.
7. Customer Responsibilities
• The client must provide access to water and electricity if needed.
• The area to be serviced should be free from excessive debris, furniture, or other obstructions.
• If additional work is required beyond the agreed scope, we will discuss the cost before proceeding.
8. Complaints and Disputes
• If you are unhappy with our service, please notify us within 24 hours so we can address the issue.
• Disputes will be handled through discussion, and if necessary, through mediation.
9. Termination of Services
• Either party may terminate regular services with 7 days' notice.
• We reserve the right to terminate services due to non-payment, unreasonable demands, or safety concerns.
10. Damage to Equipment
• The client is responsible for ensuring the work area is free from hidden hazards, such as rocks, metal objects, or other debris that could damage our equipment.
• If our equipment is damaged due to an undisclosed or hidden hazard on the property, the client will be liable for the cost of repairs or replacement.
11. Damage to Vehicles
• If we request that a vehicle be moved to prevent potential damage and the client chooses not to do so, we will not be held responsible for any accidental damage caused during the service.
• The client assumes full responsibility for any risks associated with leaving their vehicle in the work area.
12. Changes to Scope of Work
• If the client requests changes to the agreed-upon work after accepting the quote but before or during the job, any additional work will be quoted separately.
• The original quoted price covers only the services specified in the initial agreement. Any extra work must be agreed upon before proceeding and may affect the project timeline and cost.
13. Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available upon request.
